Image of Time: The Sphinx, a series of mixed media paintings and concrete assemblages was shown at the Hite Art Institute, University of Louisville, June 27 - August 7, 2011.
The series was inspired by the ongoing Egyptian Revolt. I have long been fascinated with the Sphinx and on the night Mubarak was overthrown, I thought of the ancient Sphinx of Giza. It was again witnessing the change of the history of the Egyptian people.
